110 Dishes In 110 Places

A couple years ago, I made a list of 110 dishes in 110 destinations. Some are pretty easy, “Tourtière in Quebec City” and some are tougher, “Calulu in São Tomé & Príncipe”. I was trying to find an overarching goal that I could pursue over time. I’ve never found the hyper-specific “make $1,000,000 by Dec 22, 2024” method to be sustainable. It’s too binary, as in you’ve either reached the goal or you haven’t.
A list of 110 experiences just feels like one big wave of momentum, where reaching the “end” would mean a lot of positive things fell into place ie. free time to travel to 110 places, money to travel to 110 places, being surrounded by adventurous people that want to travel to 110 places.
Motivation is a deeply personal thing, you know what gets you up in the morning, but I would suggest writing a list of experiences and attacking them. My bet is that through crossing them off, there’s a domino effect in other areas of life.
This was #11 on the list, a Stroopwafel in Amsterdam, put this on your list.
