One summer, my friend Dave rallied a group of us for a weekend trip to a remote hot springs four hours north of town. The first night, I remember wondering why I didn’t do this type of thing more often. There’s something about just lazing around a campfire with friends, making marshmallow torches and sipping semi-warm Miller Lite that tops any fancy meal in the city.
So here’s a nod to the campfire cookout, we hope you get to share a couple this summer, full of good company, good conversation and maybe if you’re really lucky, no phone service.
