Hama Hama Oysters
Cultivating bivalves from the pristine waters of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula since 1922, Hama Hama is a 5th generation family run oyster farm. You can’t go wrong with the Blue Pools (named after the family’s secret swimming hole) or the namesake Hama Hama known for it’s “clean, crisp flavor with a sweet finish that evokes melon rind or cucumber”.
Rappahannock Oyster Company
Celebrating the Chesapeake Bay and its native shellfish since 1899, Rappahannock Oyster Company is a fourth generation oyster farm that offers up a sweet, buttery, full-bodied bivalve with a refreshingly clean finish thanks to the fresh waters of the Blue Mountains meeting the Chesapeake. The farm also boasts it’s Rochambeau and brinier Olde Salt Oysters as well as some very respectable littleneck clams.
Island Creek Oysters
In their own words “From Tide To Table” Island Creek oysters are harvested daily and shipped overnight from Duxbury Bay. For the oyster obsessed you can even go for the Oyster of the Month Club. Island Creek offers the quintessential east coast oyster along with a really awesome line of sauces to upgrade your shellfish.
