The Hunt For Bacanora

It took four liquor stores in Guaymas but I finally stumbled across “Bacanora”, a smokey distilled Mexican moonshine that was illegal until 1992. It’s similar to Mezcal but found only in Sonora, Mexico because it comes from a wild pacific agave that grows only in the region. Coming to a dimly lit hipster bar near you sometime in 2018.
