Every Mantry crate is made in the USA. When we started the company almost 7 years ago we wanted unique packaging and recalled that oysters often arrive at restaurants in wood crates. We went to Rodney’s Oyster House and THE Rodney (the owner) agreed to let us recycle leftover boxes. Within a month we outgrew his supply and found an American manufacturer to crank them out. Shout out to Rodney who didn’t flinch when two guys asked for all his oyster crates and for saying yes without even asking why.
