“in all it’s bourbon-y comforting goodness…”
There are certain opportunities you don’t say no to. Like when you’re in Nashville for one night only and get offered tickets to a Willie Nelson concert. When our crew pulled up to The Woods Amphitheater the first thing I noticed is the music city knows how to do a concert right. The venue was teeming with food trucks and local vendors dishing out everything from pulled pork tacos to salted caramel ice cream, all with good beer and short lines.
One of the vendors was Eli Mason; I couple local guys serving up mint juleps using their homemade mixes. I don’t know if there’s ever a bad time for a well-made mint julep in all its bourbon-y comforting goodness, but this certainly wasn’t it. And just our luck, they bottle it up.
